Listening to earth. Listening to First Nations People’s wisdom in their words and art. Listening to God within, between, among us and beyond. A quiet space for reflection and prayer ahead of Reconciliation Week. (27 May to 3 June, with the theme, Be Brave. Make Change)

You may like to bring an Aboriginal work of art, or story or sculpture to share and spend time with in contemplation.

Susanna Pain is an Anglican priest, spiritual companion, retreat leader and supervisor. She recently joined Benedictus Contemplative Church in Canberra as Senior Associate: Community, Spirituality and the Arts. Susanna is a life member of ANSD.

My aim is to enable the transformation of individuals and communities in good times and in bad, through change and transition; to create space where people can rest and feel safe with challenges and successes.
I invite inclusiveness, grace, beauty and fun, as well as silence. I shape ritual and space that speaks to hearts and minds.
All my midwifery is undergirded by prayer.
