Quiet Afternoon of Prayer
Moving Into Spring

Sunday 29 August 2021
Meeting Online via Zoom

General information

My beloved speaks and says to me: "Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away; for now the winter is past, the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth; the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. The fig tree puts forth its figs, and the vines are in blossom; they give forth fragrance. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away."
- Song of Solomon 2:10-13
In these uncertain times, I need quiet prayer in community. I need to listen to the voice of the Divine, in scripture, in creation, and in the people I meet.

I invite you to join me on zoom for a quiet afternoon of prayer, with some reflective input, and silence.

Susanna Pain | Philosophy
My aim is to enable the transformation of individuals and communities in good times and in bad, through change and transition; to create space where people can rest and feel safe with challenges and successes.
I invite inclusiveness, grace, beauty and fun, as well as silence. I shape ritual and space that speaks to hearts and minds.
All my midwifery is undergirded by prayer.
