'Belonging'
A Quiet Day

Saturday 20 August 2016
The Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture, Canberra

General information

'I am who I am' or 'I am becoming what I am becoming' or 'I will be who I will be'.
Exodus 3:14

Each heart is a pilgrim, each one wants to know
The reason why the winds die, and where the stories go.
Pilgrim, in your journey you may travel far,
For Pilgrim it’s a long way to find out who you are...

Enya
When Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down; for I must stay at your house today.”
Luke 19:5

Come for a day of quiet and prayer, with likeminded people, opening to God's presence and call.

We open with a cuppa at 9:00am, then a reflection 9:30am, gather at various times for reflection and meditation, and a closing prayer at 3:00pm.

Bring your own lunch, journal, hat, and art materials if you'd like. Morning and afternoon tea provided.

Susanna Pain | Philosophy
My aim is to enable the transformation of individuals and communities in good times and in bad, through change and transition; to create space where people can rest and feel safe with challenges and successes.
I invite inclusiveness, grace, beauty and fun, as well as silence. I shape ritual and space that speaks to hearts and minds.
All my midwifery is undergirded by prayer.
