Betsey Beckman
Retreat leader: Rev Susanna Pain
Susanna has practised meditation in various forms for over thirty years now. She considers herself a beginner, always having to begin again, but Christian Meditation is central to her being and spiritual practice, and she forms a Christian Meditation Group whenever she moves to a new place.

Susanna is Anglican Dean of St Paul’s Cathedral, Sale in the Diocese of Gippsland, where she leads a community of faith in prayer and worship and action.

She enjoys leading retreats, quiet days, and Creative InterPlay Workshops. She also values walking with others in Spiritual Direction and Supervision.

Susanna Pain | Philosophy
My aim is to enable the transformation of individuals and communities in good times and in bad, through change and transition; to create space where people can rest and feel safe with challenges and successes.
I invite inclusiveness, grace, beauty and fun, as well as silence. I shape ritual and space that speaks to hearts and minds.
All my midwifery is undergirded by prayer.
