Film and Theology
Film as a Mirror: What Do You See?

Various Thursday Nights, 2016
The Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture, Canberra

General information

Over these five sessions throughout 2016, your host and facilitator will be Nikolai Blaskow, screenwriter, Chaplain and Head of Religious and Values Education at Radford College, aspiring doctoral candidate for Religion and Theology, who is forever grateful that the nuns at St John’s College Campbelltown (a former Preparatory Boarding School for St Joseph’s College, Sydney) made him and his fellow boarders watch films every Friday night for three years.

The evening begins at 6:30pm sharp and finishes punctually at 9:30pm. Bring food, soft drinks and wine to share. After the viewing, there will be a discussion to which you are invited to contribute.

Susanna Pain | Philosophy
My aim is to enable the transformation of individuals and communities in good times and in bad, through change and transition; to create space where people can rest and feel safe with challenges and successes.
I invite inclusiveness, grace, beauty and fun, as well as silence. I shape ritual and space that speaks to hearts and minds.
All my midwifery is undergirded by prayer.
